Sunday Position

Position available: Sunday Service preparation person 
Employment Application available in the office 

Wanted:  Dependable, capable, cheerful collaborative person to take responsibility for opening and closing the church building on Sundays, as well as assisting staff and volunteers with various other duties. Must be able to lift and carry up to 65 pounds (tables, chairs, etc.)  

1. Disarm lobby alarm
2. Disarm café alarm
3. Unlock all Sanctuary doors
4. Turn on lights in Sanctuary
5. Unlock bookstore
6. Put straps on Lobby doors
7. Put strap on East entrance/exit door
8. Turn on lights in bathrooms and hallway
9. Turn on light over water cooler in lobby
10. Assist Hospitality person/persons if needed before and after the service
11. Assist guest presenters setting up table etc. for product sales
12. Assist in setting up meditation room set up when needed
13. Assist in setting up tables and chairs for Pot Luck lunches when needed
14. At 10:30 am pull strap on East side entrance/exit door and put up sign
15. At 10:30 am pull straps to lock front lobby doors
16. Remain in lobby until 10:50 am to let any late comers in
17. After service put straps on lobby doors so people and come and go
18. Turn off lights in Sanctuary
19. After everyone has left the Sanctuary lock all Sanctuary doors
20. Make sure exit doors in cafe are locked and set alarm in cafe
21. Pull straps on all lobby doors and make sure they are locked
22. Turn off light over water cooler in lobby
23. Make sure lights are off in bathrooms and hallway
24. Make sure East entry/exit door is locked
25. Make sure door between lobby and offices is locked
26. Set lobby alarm and leave
27. Refresh flowers when possible
28. Be available for any special occasions that the church would need to be opened/closed which could involve days other than Sunday
29. Be on the Watchlight Alarm company for calls
30.   Assist Cleaning staff if they are unable to work or are on vacation
