Sunday Celebration Service "Mystic Cords of Memory" with guest speaker Rev. Bob Fortner and Christine Mariani Music

Join us on Sunday, May 24th at 10:30 am as we welcome back the heart centered guest speaker Rev. Bob Fortner with a message on "Mystic Cords of Memory." Christine Mariani elevates this service with her angelic voice and inspired musical selections.

We don't want to and cannot live in the past, but the past lives in us. Let's explore the power of, "remember and forgive " instead of "forgive and forget" which is actually impossible.
And let us remember a key Jesus teaching is, "do this in remembrance of me."

About Rev. Bob Fortner:
Rev. Bob Fortner is Minister Emeritus at Unity Church of Palm Harbor where he served for 25 years before retiring in 2022. He served in various leadership positions at Unity Worldwide Ministries for over 40 years.
He now serves as past President of the Palm Harbor Historical Society, which manages the Palm Harbor Historical Museum housed at the Hartley House at 2043 Curlew Rd. in Palm Harbor.
Bob also serves as past President of the Friends of the Island Parks, a Citizen Support Organization, that protests, preserves and promotes Caladesi and Honeymoon Island State Parks.
Terry Fortner, Bob’s wife of 45 years is Myrtle Betz’s granddaughter. Myrtle was born and raised on Caladesi (then called Hog) Island and authored the book, Yesteryear I Lived in Paradise. Rev. Bob claims his wife got him involved with the Friends and the Museum to keep him out of mischief after he retired. Bob’s motto is, “in order to preserve the past and protect the future, those who care must be present.”
